Westchester County park passes are available only to Westchester residents. The park pass enables holders to use all county-owned park facilities and provides discounts in user and parking fees where applicable. Get you pass early in the season to get the maximum benefit from it.

We do our best to keep our parks safe. Did you know that hunting is not permitted in any county park or property? We also prohibit the use of metal detection devices.

For non-commercial, personal-use photography, a permit and fee are required; please call the Parks Permit Office at (914) 231-4575. For commercial-use photography, contact the Tourism and Film Office at (914) 995-8500.
Dog Policy
Just as we enjoy the open space and fresh air of a park, so do our pets. Dogs are allowed in most parks, but they must be leashed; leash not to exceed 6 feet in length. Limit of 3 dogs per person. However, no dogs are allowed in the county nature preserves or sanctuaries, Lasdon Park and Arboretum, Muscoot Farm, Playland, the Sportsman Center or Washington's Headquarters. Dogs are not permitted in picnic areas or playgrounds. Dog walking/training services are prohibited on parks property. Disposable dog waste bags are available at many parks.
