Sept. 21, 2021 – Wash, shine and detail your car to get it in tip-top shape for the Westchester County Car Show, Sunday, Sept. 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon.
The show will feature displays of a wide variety of classic and collectible cars, street rods and motorcycles, all carefully restored to mint condition or modified for performance. Westchester Street Rod Association will present more than 100 trophies to the best vehicles. Registration is $20 per entry.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “I’m excited to welcome back the Westchester County Car Show to Glen Island Park as last year it was unable to be held due to the COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at Glen Island. Bringing back our annual events is another indicator of a return to normalcy – which is because people are getting vaccinated and continuing to get tested. This is how we come back.”
Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said, “Getting Glen Island back on its feet earlier this year was a great way to kick off the summer season. I’m thrilled to continue bringing back beloved events like the Westchester County Car Show to the park.”
Admission is free for spectators. There is a parking fee of $5 per car. In case of rain, the event will be cancelled. Additional information, or call: (914) 231-4645.
The Car Show is hosted by Westchester Street Rod Association and sponsored by Hasselman Racing and Hyatt’s Garage and Towing.
