Feb. 25, 2022 – Calling all athletes. Would you like to increase your sports IQ and sharpen your skillset in a positive camp atmosphere this summer? Westchester County Parks has a sports camp for you!
County Executive George Latimer said: “As someone who thoroughly enjoyed sports in my youth, I know how valuable camp programs like these are. These courses give your child the opportunity to be surrounded by those with similar interests and get them excited to learn more about something they are passionate about. I am confident those who partake will have a great time being active, making new friends and memories along the way.”

HEAT Baseball Camp provides instruction for children ages 8 - 15 (as of May 1, 2022). This camp will cover all areas of the game including fielding, pitching, hitting, base running, strength and conditioning, game situations and baseball IQ. Four week-long sessions beginning Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will be held at VE Macy Park, Ardsley. Early bird registration, multiple week discount, early drop off and late pick up available; starting at $220 per camper per session.
Slam Dunk Basketball Camp welcomes children entering grades 3 to 9 (as of September, 2022). Dedicated to providing campers with the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the game and develop their basketball skills, this camp’s environment fosters cooperative learning and enthusiasm. Two week-long sessions, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held at House of Sports, Ardsley:
• Session 1: July 5 – 8, $300 per camper per session
• Session 2: August 15 – 19, $350 per camper per session
Hole-in-One Junior Golf Camp will be held at all six Westchester County Golf Courses this summer. Campers, age 10 - 17, will learn the fundamentals, hone their skills and develop their confidence. Two week sessions held at Dunwoodie and Sprain Lake, Yonkers; Hudson Hills, Ossining; Maple Moor, White Plains; Mohansic, Yorktown Heights; and Saxon Woods, Scarsdale; beginning Monday, July 11 through Friday, August 4, times vary; $75 per camper per session.
