March 7, 2025 - Batter up! HEAT Baseball Summer Camp returns to V.E. Macy Park in Ardsley this summer with four, one-week sessions from Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 25, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants must be ages 8 through 15 as of May 1, 2025. Registration opens Tuesday, March 11 at noon.
County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “HEAT Baseball Summer Camp helps children develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence while improving their athletic skills. They build friendships, stay active and learn sportsmanship. The structured environment fosters leadership, perseverance and a love for the game in a fun setting.”
HEAT Baseball Summer Camp will cover all aspects of the game, including fielding, pitching, hitting, base-running, strength and conditioning, game situations, baseball IQ and optimal player movements.
Commissioner of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O’Connor said: “V.E. Macy Park is an excellent setting for baseball. Its two well-maintained fields are bordered by scenic greenery. The park’s facilities, relaxing atmosphere and convenient location make it ideal for young athletes.”
Early bird registration is $300 per camper per session through May 31. Beginning June 1, registration is $325 per camper per session.
